Children’s Yoga (Ages 3 to 7)

This 45 minute class will be offered outside with weather permitting (building available if needed) This class will teach focus through breathing and relaxation techniques your child can use for self-regulating big emotions and calming. You and your child will experience games, songs, stories and activities in an age-appropriate setting. Adults may participate with their child or sit with them and observe, but must remain with class. Please bring a yoga mat for each participant.
Instructor: Kelly Sieloff, certified children’s yoga teacher with a BS in early childhood development and education.
Yoga (6 Weeks)
7:00 to 8:15 PM
Session 1 - Tuesdays, September 14 to October 19
Session 2 - Tuesdays, November 2 to December 7
Fee per Session: $40 - Resident $45 - Non resident
Beginning to Lower Intermediate Yoga taught with safety, mindfulness and goal oriented physical improvement. Learn to safely and strategically develop movement you can use in other classes and modify physical stressors of your life. Students may be asked to sit, stand, kneel, lay & modify at times. You MUST bring minimum of 2 towels for your personal use & health safety. You MUST bring YOUR OWN YOGA MAT. Support equipment is available to use on a first come basis. Equipment will NOT be sanitized. Instructor expects students to use one clean towel to contact all bolsters, one for personal sweating and to return all equipment themselves. Special Note: Instructor will be available after regular class from 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to do some varied goal oriented work.
