Grass cutting, park maintenance, general labor.
Must be 18 years old and have a valid drivers license.
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
$12.00 an hour to start.

PART-TIME ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER (Trainee)

City of Woodhaven/Trenton

Hourly Starting Rate of Pay is $16 and $17 upon completion of training

25 Hours a Week/Hours 2pm to 7pm

Qualifications

  • Be a US Citizen, at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Responsible for studying, learning, and enforcing Michigan’s laws/regulations and Woodhaven and Trenton Ordinances related to animals.
  • Work with local law enforcement/local prosecutors when preparing for cases, chain of custody and evidence handling.
  • Must be able to positively interact with veterinarians and learn how to implement proper shelter care, medication dispensing, humane euthanasia, sedation and other necessary animal related care.
