Household Hazardous Waste Collection

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION

Typically, the City participates in 2 household hazardous waste collections a year, one in spring and one in the fall. There is a cost of approximately $40.00 per car to participate. The City will pay for the first 30 residents that would like to partake in this event. You must reserve your name on a list at the Department of Public Services. This may be done in person or by calling our office at 734-675-4919 during regular business hours. Any resident may participate but will have to pay the current fee (TBD when you arrive at the location) if not on the City's participant list or when the reservations have exceeded 30. There will be a cut off date to sign up, be sure to check our website or cable channel for postings.

Wayne County also hosts collection events periodically at various locations around the County. Usually there is no fee for participation and you do not have to reserve a space with our department or the County. Details for all collections will be announced on our website and/or the local Woodhaven cable channel.

Where: City of Taylor Department of Public Works Building 25605 Northline
Located on the corner of Northline and Beech Daly, Taylor, MI.
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m

**Please call the City of Woodhaven Department of Public Service at
734-675-4919 for a reservation for this event. The City will pay for the
first 30 residents to sign up and participate.
