The Woodhaven Playscape community build was a way to connect the Business Community with the Residents of Woodhaven. The Projects raw materials were paid for by the Woodhaven Downtown Development Authority and labor was provided by volunteers from the Community. Over the course of the project holes were dug, filled with cement and the structures erected. Features include a tower and tube slide 18ft tall that is fully enclosed, a rock climbing wall, tire swing as well as a smaller playscape that is designed for children from ages 2-5.

This playscape adds yet another reason for people to visit Woodhaven, the playscape is free to play on and is located behind the Community Center on Hall rd. GRAND OPENING IS SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 9, 2010 AT 4:30 PM WITH A RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY.
